McKenna Mendelson Mainline – Stink

Stink is the first album released (and second recorded) by McKenna Mendelson Mainline, a late-1960s Canadian blues rock group, consisting of Mike McKenna of Luke & the Apostles and The Ugly Ducklings, Joe Mendelson, formerly an acoustic blues musician, Tony Nolasco from The Spassicks, and Mike Harrison from Grant Smith & the Power.

Stink was recorded in London, England, while they were playing the club circuit there, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and Rory Gallagher, and notably filling in for the Jimi Hendrix Experience at the Utrecht Pop Festival in 1968. Two 45s were released from the album, "You Better Watch Out" (backed with "She's Alright"), which reached as high as #3 on RPM's Canadian Content chart and #47 on the Singles chart, and "Don't Give Me No Goose for Christmas Grandma" (backed with "Beltmaker").
